Birthplace of Pietro Minchiotti around Pavia

Hi I am searching for my great grandfather's place of birth.
Pietro Minchiotti born between 1849-1850 to Carlo Minchiotti and Maria Tonani, married to Rosa Grizia born in 1850 to Francisco Antonio Grizia and Teresa Curti.
I managed to get all his children birth certificates which from which I managed to calculate the birth year of the parents and their grandparent's names. All birth certificates indicate they were italians but none the exact place. Ther's only one document which indicates Rosa Grizia was from Pavia, this also matches the surname incidence search both for Minchiotti and Grizia, most notable in Lombardia, most precisely the area of Pavia. There is also something which caught my eye that in the death certificate of Rosa, the name of Pietro's mother is Paradisso, thought it might indicate the place where she was born.
At the moment I am stuck with my search, I tried to get the military records of Pietro but the Archivio di Stato di Pavia informed me they have the military records from 1871 onwards. Any ideas where I can get more information to continue my research?
thank you!
