Looking for my Burone/Burrone/Guaraglia ancestors in Italy
Inviato: lunedì 24 gennaio 2022, 21:34
Hello, my name is Bernarda from Argentina and I'm trying to find my great great grandfather's hometown and birth or baptism certificate, Giovanni Burone/Burrone, whose parents are Giovanni Battista Burone and Margherita Guaraglia.
This is all the info I have:
Name: Giovanni (Juan in Uruguay and Argentina)
Surname: Burone/Burrone
Year of birth: 1856/57 in Italy
Parents: Giovanni Battista Burone (born in 1814, in Italy, death in 1889 in Uruguay. Parents: Giovanni Battista Burone and Maxima Barbieri) and Margherita Guaraglia. They both migrated from Italy to Uruguay between 1857 and 1865. They brought their kids with them:
-Giovanni Burone (Born in 1856/57 in Italy)
-Emilia Burone (Born in 1844/45 in Italy)
-Santina Burone (Born in 1848/49 in Italy)
When they arrived in Uruguay they had two more kids (that I know of):
-Celestino Lucio Burone (1866, Colonia , Uruguay)
-Santiago Burone (1869, Colonia, Uruguay)
My great great grandfather, Giovanni Burone (Juan Burone in Uruguay and Argentina) married an Argentinian woman, Dolores Quintana, in Uruguay, in 1876
- I have the death certificate of his cousin, Carlo Burone/Burrone, born in 1850 in Italy in which says that he was born in the province of Pavia. But Pavia is big and as he was born before 1866 and the civil registry didn't exist yet, the church was the one that kept register of the births. So I have to find out where he was born and the parish where he was baptized.
- I also found a marriage certificate in Argentina between a Francesco Burone and María Guaraglia in 1884. He was from Stradella, Pavia and she was from Artana, Pavia (which must've been a mistake because Artana is in Piacenza).
-I also found the marriage record of Antonio Burone in 1886 in which it says he was from Pavia, Pavia.
- I've also asked many people that have Italian Burone/Burrone ancestors and they all say their ancestors were from Pavia or Piacenza.
I have all the certificates (marriage and death certificates) but the only info there is is that he was Italian.
If you have any information, please let me know,
