Hello,

I'm looking for the birth certificate or baptism register of my great grandfather, GIovanni Frugeri (or Fruggeri).
He was born in the year of 1866 or 1867 at Castel D'ario and got married to Corinna de Marchi on the 15 of May 1890 also in Castel D'ario.

His parents were Pietro Fruggeri and Constanza Bonalberti.
I have tried so many times via Family Search and some other italian websites but I was not sucessful.
Any help is more than appreciated.

L'atto di nascita di GIovanni Frugeri dovrebbe esserci fra gli allegati all'atto di richiesta delle pubblicazioni e di matrimonio. Questi sono visibili solo nei Centri di Storia Familiare dei mormoni.

Vedo che il 15 maggio 1890 é stato celebrato un doppio matrimonio.
Si sposarono infatti un fratello ed una sorella Frugeri, Giovanni di anni 24 e Virginia di anni 18 entrambi figli di Pietro e Costanza.
E sposarono due De Marchi, anche loro fratello e sorella, Roberto e Corinna di Cesare e fu Barbara.

Per quanto riguarda l’atto nascita di Giovanni mi sa che la dovrai cercare in parrocchia o nella diocesi.
Ha 24 anni al matrimonio perciò, sulla carta, dovrebbe essere nato nel 1865 o 1866 ma prima del 30 marzo (in questo caso lo puoi trovare anche in comune).

Thank you very much for the links. I had their marriage registration but I didn’t have this link with the Allegati (Matrimoni, pubblicazioni allegati, SCI-96.5, 1890). Today I went to a family history center where I could access these images. Unfortunately this file for the year 1890 was incomplete and I could not find the files they used for the marriage.

Besides that, I wrote to the Diocese of Mantova and I’m still waiting for a reply.

Do you know any other way I could find out his birth date and look for his birth or baptism certificate? I was trying to read the marriage certificates but it looks like there is no birth date on it.

Thanks for the info! Indeed, I didn’t see that before.

Looking at the registers of Castel D’ario, looks like it starts only from 1867 onwards. I wrote to the diocese and I’m waiting for their reply. Hope they can find something.

La data di nascita la puoi trovare nei documenti militari di Giovanni Frugeri. Potresti chiedere all'Archivio di Stato di Mantova di fare per te una ricerca per corrispondenza sulle Liste di Leva relative alle classi 1866-67.
