Marriage Certificate Pesce - Bartoli in Genova or Alessandria

Hey, I'm looking for the marriage certificate of my great-grandparents Stefano Pesce and Bibiana Bartoli.

Stefano, and his ancestor are from Bandita di Cassinelle in Alessandria.
However, the Comune and the Church both told me they were not married there in Cassinelle. Both suggested me to research in Genova, because in the birth certificate of their first children, says that Bibiana came from the Hospice of Genoa.

I don't have a idea on the date of marriage, but considering the birth certificate of their first children born in January 1892 where states the were married, we can conclude it happened before – and my guess is not long before, since I guess contraceptive methods were not popular back then.

I Genoa I don't know were to look, cause it's a big province in terms of population.

I investigated that the Hospice had or has a church, and was guessing that maybe they got married there. But, after contacting them, they said the archive got lost in 1970 after a flooding.

So, any help on how to make logical guesses on where to look for, or any other advice, will be appreciated.
