Dana Cigana, 84, of 111 Pine Avenue, Houston, died Friday, September 25, 1998, in Manor Care of McMurray. She was born January 26, 1914, in Greensburg, and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg. Surviving are two sons,
Angelo Cigana of Canonsburg and
Carl Cigana of Muse; two daughters,
Toni Finney of Houston and
Virginia Fish of Ashtabula, Ohio; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her husband Angelo Cigana; a son, Anthony, who died in infancy; a daughter, Mary Engott; a granddaughter, Lori Fish; a brother, Frank Bruno; and two sisters, Flora Bruno and Carmella Nagy.
CIGANA - There will be no public visitation for
Dana Cigana of 111 Pine Avenue, Houston, who died Friday, September 25, 1998. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, September 28, at the St. Patrick Worship Site of St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg. Burial in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements by William M. Bogan Funeral Home, Canonsburg.

Angelo Cigana, 69, beloved husband of
Kathy, of Canonsburg, died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2008.
He was born December 29, 1938, in Houston, a son of Angelo and Dana Cigana.
Mr. Cigana worked for Cooper Industries, Canonsburg, retiring after 30 years of service. His passion for and education in fields of technology and electronics allowed him to enjoy post-retirement for ADC of Lawrence for several years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife Kathy, are a
brother, Carl (Jean) Cigana of Muse, and
two sisters, Toni (Roy) Finney of Houston and Virginia (Fred) Fish of Ashtabula, Ohio.
Also surviving are nieces Michelle Hadley of New Jersey, Shari Orisko of Prosperity, Debbie Fish of Ashtabula and Darla Coloma of Burlington, Ky.; nephews Carl B. Cigana of Muse, Mark and Jeffery Fish of Ashtabula, Dwayne Finney of Canonsburg and Kevin Finney of Knoxville, Tenn.; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a
sister, Mary (Skip) Engott of Houston, and a
brother, Anthony.
At the request of Mr. Cigana, there will be no public viewing.
As Helen Steiner Rice once wrote, "The end of the road is but a bend in the road." Mr. Cigana believed there is an endless world beyond death and he will join the souls he loved.
A memorial Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 23, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow in Woodruff Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillman Cancer Clinic, UPMC-Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh.
