Pauline P. Veneziani DeSimone
Loving mother and devoted grandmother
Pauline P. Veneziani DeSimone, 88, of Avonmore, died Monday, February 4, 2008, in Consulate Health Care, North Strabane Township.
She was born September 18, 1919, in Italy, a daughter of Joseph and Maria Bottalie Veneziani.
Mrs. DeSimone was a resident of Avonmore for most of her life.
Before her retirement in 1981, she was a machine operator at Federal Laboratories in Tunnelton for more than 18 years.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society. She also belonged to Fannie Sellins Lodge, Avonmore.
She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother who will be missed by all.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel L. DeSimone of Avonmore and Michael E. DeSimone and wife Carol of Cecil; four grandchildren, Stephanie Corbin and husband James of Hanover, Danielle DeSimone of Canonsburg, Susan Sroka and husband Dennis of Peters Township and Samuel Nicholas DeSimone of Pittsburgh; and four great-grandchildren, Michael and Daniel Corbin and Talia and Myla Sroka.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Samuel DeSimone, who died in 1999; four brothers, Leonard, Daniel, Louis and Ernest Veneziani; and a sister, Armetta Veneziani.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd., 400 Indiana Avenue, Avonmore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 7, in St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Avonmore, with the Rev. Salvatore Lamendola as celebrant. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery, Avonmore.

GIULIA VENEZIANI, 96, of Haddonfield, died Tuesday at West Jersey Hospital- Voorhees.
She was the widow of Michele Veneziani.
Survivors: three sons, Dominick of Bellmawr, Jack of Pine Hill and Michael of Bellmawr; a daughter, Antoinette Lacatena of Haddonfield; 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

DOMINICK M. VENEZIANI, 67, of Maple Shade, died Tuesday at home.
Mr. Veneziani was a retired secretary-treasurer of Calico Merchandising Corp. in Gloucester City. He was an Army Air Force sergeant from 1952 to 1975.
Survivors: his wife, Mary S. Heston Veneziani; a daughter, Madeline of Alexandria, La.; a son, James M. of Alexandria, La.; a granddaughter, and two brothers, Anthony J. of Pennsauken and Ernest of Cherry Hill.
