Salve a tutti, avrei bisogno di informazioni (città/paese di provenienza, data di nascita ecc.), di Luigi Toye, che ho trovato qui (compare come padre). Dal documento risulta essere nato in Italia, ma nei registri di Ellis Island non compare. Chiedo cortesemente se qualcuno ha accesso ad altri documenti che possano darmi qualche informazione in più su Luigi. Grazie!

Toye è un cognome che è stato storpiato perchè dal record del matrimonio tra Luigi e Maria risulta un altro ( inoltre Toye non mi sembra un cognome italiano):

Grazie Laura, hai indirettamente risolto il mio interrogativo. Infatti facendo controlli incrociati tra FamilySearch ed Ellis Island non capivo perché Maria Compagnone risultasse sposata a un altro nome. Il sospetto che il cognome Toye sia in realtà frutto di un refuso su FS è quindi fondato. (Peccato, sarebbe stato un colpo di fortuna per me, che cercavo proprio quello! )
