thanks again darin...so Antonino had two brothers: John and Andrea, but why threeAndrea: one born in 1894 and the other in 1896 were born in the same day and month (9th august)..maybe a mistake or the first died and they gave the same name to the second born in the same date for happy coincidence! but the the third Andrea born in 1900! maybe also the second was died!?

As I can't speak Italian, if somebody can look at the marriage record (9 pages) and find the birth town of Croce Trifiletti, I will attempt to trace his family a bit further (if possible)

Hi Darin, Croce Trifiletti was born in 1867 in S. Lucia del Mela Messina, while his wife Santa Maria De Maggio (or Di Maggio) on 2nd May 1863 in Spadafora Messina. Thanks

I have searched the 1867 (+1866 and 1868) births for Santa Lucia Del Mela for Croce Trifiletti, but there isn't one listed.

There is an Angela Trifiletti and a Giuseppa Trifiletti both in 1867, but don't match the details of Croce.

Very strange.
