Hi again Erica
Can you remember you found the baptism of Stella Mazzei for me (Gello, Camaiore 1808) - daughter of Iacopo Mazzei and Maria Rosa Guazzelli?
I have now found a marriage in Livorno 1846 of a Stella Mazzei, daughter of Iacopo Mazzei and Rosa Garzelli.
I'm sure this is my family.
The problem is it states she is 31, which would make her birth about 1815.
So the Stella Mazzei you found must have died between 1808-1815.
Can you find a death for Stella Mazzei in Camaiore (1808-1810)?
Also, can you tell me where in Livorno the parish is of the 2nd Stella please?

If I can find the 2nd Stella's death it may tell me where she was born?
Thanks again
Darin.

Hi Darin,
here you can find the 1841 census and verify if M. Stella lived already there in 1841:
http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... ento/1841/
For your other question in a death act it's usually written where a person was born.
Erica
The parish is S. Andrea Apostolo in the center of Livorno,mazzie74 ha scritto:Also, can you tell me where in Livorno the parish is of the 2nd Stella please?

I haven't found Stella Mazzei's death in Gello between 1808 and 1813.mazzie74 ha scritto:So the Stella Mazzei you found must have died between 1808-1815.
In Livorno census dated 1841 I've found 2 Mazzei, as you can see :
Mazzei Giustina, a servant

and Mazzei Niccola, occasional worker, married with Danti Fortunata

Hi again Erica
I've found only one child of Martino Lucelli and Stella Mazzei.
He was called Giovanni Luigi Lucelli and he was born in the parish of San Jacopo, Livorno on 22nd June 1849.

Unfortunately records for Livorno aren't online past the year 1865.
Thanks again
Darin.

Hi Darin,
we're one step closer.
In the 1841 census for the parish of San Jacopo in Acquaviva (Livorno), I haven't found Lucelli family but only this Mazzei family:
http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... 5.jpg.html
In Livorno Historical Municipal Archives you can find Liste di leva from 1866 and Giovanni Luigi Lucelli should belong to the military class of 1870.
Other registers kept are cemetery records from 1866, Civil Status records 1808-1814 and 1866-1995 and many others.
Here you can find contacts and details:

Hi again Erica
It's probably not the right Stella, but I've found an index of deaths and in 1810 it has a Maria Stella Mazzei.
I've been on the deaths for Pistoia 1810, as that's what the town looks like it says, but I can't find the numbers 6 and 217.
Can you help?
