Ciao Suanj, questa è la risposta della persona che mi aveva contattato ma che non conosco, aveva solo trovato nel sito di gentedimare il cognome Mancini tra quelli che avevo ricercato; ti passo qui le informazioni che poi gli rigirerò via mail. Now the name Giovanni, what would that translate to in America? I know there was Tom/Johnny/Joseph/Frank/...and also, on the 1900 census for her family, we see an Antonetta and we don't know what became of her...no mention of her in the family through the years...
So the 1888 ship list shows Francesco and Maria and Guiseppi (sp?)...we believe that's correct and then another time, we see Francesco later coming on a boat, same name, and he was gonna stay with his brothers in New York...the brothers were Paulo and can't remember the other one...

Scusa Luca, sicuramente non so i presupposti della ricerca che ha fatto già il tuo Jim e quindi non riesco a collegare quel che dice.. nel censimento del 1900 lui dice che c'è una figlia, Antonietta di cui non sa niente.. poi di un fratello Paulo e di un altro di cui non ricorda il nome.. se ci mostra il censimento del 1900 a cui si riferisce posso capire di più.. non dà date, non dice dove hanno vissuto.. ma di Mangini/Mancini ce ne sono a bizzeffe.. con i nomi che cita poi.. sono frequentissimi...
Il nome Giovanni è John negli USA che io sappia...
Penso che la cosa migliore sia una breve cronostoria della sua ricerca con nomi e possibilmente almeno gli anni probabili di nascita e dove vissero negli USA....

Luca consigliagli di richiedere il certificato di morte di Francesco Mangini; oppure cercarlo nei microfilms di Familysearch, penso debba esserci... quindi o lo richiede o se lo cerca e molto probabilmente scoprirà il nome dei genitori e il luogo di nascita, che penso proprio Sala Consilina.
Quindi dovrebbe avere conferma o meno di questa ricerca che ho fatto, che francamente penso corretta, perchè coppia con questi nomi, ci sono solo questi....

Do you have any advice or know how we MIGHT be able to find out where Antonetta went? Would she be on the 1910 Census you think?

They came from Montemiletto/Avellino/Campania...it's Antonio Centrella that married Anna Olievero...we'd like to find their marriage, they married here in the states, maybe NY or NJ...Antonio born 1885, died 1939...Anna born 1892, died 1945...believe they had 8 kids...one of the kids named Ida, that is my wife's Grandmother...we'd like to find something on the marriage of Antonio and Anna and maybe their parents? Would their parents be on the Marriage Record?
