SUE ELLEN DAY KRICK, 62, of the Chadwick Beach section of TOMS RIVER, died Sunday, Feb. 4, at the inpatient hospice unit of Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born and raised in Irvington, she was a longtime resident of Linden before coming to Chadwick Beach in 1999. She was a receptionist for Dr. Lonsk, Optometrist, and Dr. Baum Dental Office, both in Linden.
She was predeceased by her father, Albert Day. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, William C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Gerard Robinson of Howell, and Patricia and Glenn Ficke of Howell; a brother, Al Day of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Joan Berg of Long Branch; a brother-in-law, Robert Krick and his wife Sue of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Betty Edwards of Ocala, Fla.; four grandchildren, Melissa and Sean Robinson, and Amanda and Ashley Ficke; and her beloved aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, funeral services are private and under the direction of Timothy E. Ryan Home For Funerals, 706 Route 35 North, Lavallette. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer, c/o Laura Hemway, 2537-B Bayview Ave., Virginia Beach, VA 23455, or Laura@Mousekids.com.
