Hi Darin, I read the 9 pages of marriage record, with difficulty because the handwriting is hard to understand, but I could understand that Croce's birth had not be registered so to get married his parents and many witnesses have had to declare his birth in all those pages preceding the act of marriage itself. For his wife Santa Maria De Maggio, instead, there was attached the birth record. Thanks Santina.

Thanks Darin, this Croce was the great-grandfather of Antonino Trifiletti I found. I am not much interested in the brothers of Croce as in the descendants of Antonino and his brother John (Giovanni) to try to find them. If you can find some info about them I thank you very much. Or also about Caterina Maimone's ancestors in order to build my family tree. Caterina Maimone was born on 2nd August 1900 in S.Filippo del Mela Messina from Tommaso Maimone and Motta Domenica (I have her birth record but I can't find the marriage record with Antonino Trifiletti on 21st August 1921)

Ciao ragazzi! Anche io ho aperto la scorsa settimana un forum simile.
Sto cercando mio tris nonno che si chiamava Savino Agostino Spiller, nato nel 1869 a Romano canavese (TO). Sul certificato di nascita non c'è nessuna annotazione...anche lui in Italia era sposato e aveva 5 figlie! E' andato in America, su Ellis Island vedo che è sbarcato nel 1906, poi mandò una foto scattata a Chicaho Al Feuer Stein Studio..dopodichè...più nulla!
Anche io vorrei sapere se si è risposato e dove viveva.. come avete fatto a trovare quelle informazioni così dettagliate? ho visto Ziadani..sei stato bravissimo!!!!! dove posso trovare quelle info?

Sono le informazioni che ho cercato in questi giorni, purtroppo nonno Agostino è completamente scomparso. Comunque le ricerche proseguono.
