Searching for records from Teora...

I'm looking for several records from Teora:

My grandfather is Fioravante Cordasco born in Teora 1880, I have his birth record but I'm looking for the birth records of his parents.

Angelo Maria Cordasco - 1846?
Maria Antonia Sepe

The birth records I've found online start at 1866. Thank you for your help!

I think you have two possibilities:

1. The birth records of the period you are looking for are on family search, but not available online. You can purchase the microfilm and view them in a family history center close to you.

2. You can try to contact the Catholic Church there asking for the baptism of Fioravante's parents. Here it is the address and phone:

but I'll start asking the State Archives of Avellino which normally give more quickly then church an answer and should have the data of this period:

I have thought about getting the microfilm from Family Search. But I will start with the State Archives of Avellino and the Church for now to see what I get.

just to be clear, you don't need the microfilm... because, following the link I've done

Of course, to have an official copy, you need to ask State Archive and/or Church.

Mi sembra di aver capito che SMendes vada cercando atti dello Stato Civile risalenti a prima del 1866 (la disponibilità online copre l'arco temporale 1866-1910); prima di tale data(1809-1865) il materiale è disponibile solo ed esclusivamente nella versione microfilmata. Aspetto con impazienza che anche i registri 1809-1865 vengano riversati in formato digitale per la modalità online, ho ancora un certo numero di antenati da intercettare relativamente alla provincia di Avellino. Ho capito male rispetto alla richiesta di SMendes, o mi stà sfuggendo qualcosa di assolutamente interessante?!

Hai ragione luntardo che gli atti pre-unitari presso FS sono solo su microfilm, ma visto che SMendes non dispone di molti dati in merito agli avi CORDASCO-SEPE, cercare in quelli on-line puo', molto probabilmente, apportargli qualche sorpresa (atto matrimonio, altri figli etc.).

Altrimenti, come ho suggerito già a lui, hai tu provato a sentire l'AdS-AV?
